Award on the 50th Anniversary

We presented today the Tankavaara Gold Museum with a valuable award on the 50th Anniversary of its foundation in the presence of Kauko Launonen and Inkeri Sirianen who had started the history of this place. Hanna Mattila collected the award on behalf of the museum.

Present were Esko Orava for the Friends of the Museum Association and Marko Touru president of the Lapland Gold Diggers.

Sanjay Singh presided and WGA Board members Jaroslaw Dudkiewicz and Daniela Muckova were present.

Special thanks to Cesar Castaño Gancedo (Spain) author of the artwork, sculptor and gold digger.
