Dear Gold Panning Family
Following much deliberations and consultations and in consideration of the gradual easing of COVID-19 restrictions the Board of the the WGA would like to confirm that it supports the approval of the Novy Knin City council and the Czech Goldpanning Club to Host the World Goldpanning Championships as planned.
It is also quite clear that not everyone will be able to attend as usual however the consensus was that the Spirit of the WGA must prevail of course under the regulations and Protocols of the current scenario in the world.
The Organizer Committee has also undertaken to ensure that all necessary precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of our panners and supporters.
We wish the Czech organizers a successful event and appreciate their perseverance in this regard.
Panners who will be able to make it to the event we urge you to keep the spirit of the Gold panning family in mind . We know that you are looking forward to seeing each other again.
To those who won’t be able to make it, we are sure you will be there in spirit. Further information will be forthcoming from the Organizers in the near future.
