New Host and Venue for EGC 2021
Dear Golden Family, following the official communication received that Zlaté Hory (Czech Rep.) will not be in a position to host the EGC 2021 under the current circumstances, a new host and venue has been identified .
The WGA Board has been frantic at work over the last few days to salvage the situation.
We are pleased to announce that the Mayor of Tužina in Slovakia 🇸🇰 and the Slovak Goldpanning Association has agreed to organise and Host the EGC 2021. It is understood that all the necessary safety protocols will be adhered to by organizers and participants.
The new arrangements are as follows:
Host country: Slovakia 🇸🇰
Host Town/ Village: Tužina
Dates: 25-28 August 2021
Further information regarding Competition programme, logistics and other arrangements will be communicated by the Local Organising Committee.
Unusual circumstances calls for unusual interventions.
Therefore we call upon all our members to support the event and make it a safe and successful coming together of our Golden Family .
Our appreciation also goes out to Slovakia 🇸🇰 for their willingness to assist in this regard.
